Question: Leaving the subs on the cart will help with bass vibration in the room more?

Hi,

Leaving the subs on the cart would tend to reduce the physical coupling between the speakers and the floor, so If you want to minimize the energy getting into the floor, leave them on the carts with the front wheels facing forward and the back wheels backward and the wheels unlocked.

If you do want to put more energy into the structure, you will probably want to take them off the carts. For maximum impact on the structure and most evenly distributed coverage, try setting up facing the boxes into a corner as in the attached drawing. (the green arrow indicates the direction the woofers should be facing.) You can use this setup 4-high, too. If the room can accommodate the placement, the result can provide the perceived output of double or more the number of boxes.

Enjoy!
